Desmond Harrington - Actor

DESMOND HARRINGTON never set out to be an actor, but his ability
to transform into the characters he plays has allowed him to
go effortlessly from one film role to the next.
Harrington's first acting job was as Joan of Arc's Gallic boyfriend
in Luc Besson's "The Messenger." He next appeared as a Yuppie Wall
Streeter in "Boiler Room" with Vin Diesel and Ben Affleck. For his
following film, he had a leading role opposite Thora Birch and
Keira Knightley in the British thriller "The Hole." His most recent
credits include small roles in Penny Marshall's "Riding in Cars
with Boys" starring Drew Barrymore, and Randall Wallace's "We Were
Soldiers," the Vietnam epic with a cast led by Mel Gibson.
Harrington has a starring role in "Taken," Steven Spielberg's
10-part UFO series for the Sci-Fi Channel.
Harrington was born on October 19, 1976 in Bronx, New York.
