A relatively new face on American television, KRISTIN KREUK has
quickly risen as one of TV's most promising stars.
Born in Vancouver, B.C. on December 30, 1982, Kreuk began acting
in plays in high school, but mostly focused on her schoolwork
rather than the stage. Fate came calling at the beginning of her
senior year when a casting director looking for new talent for
the television series "Edgemont" tapped Kreuk for a starring
role. It was her first professional audition.
Kreuk has since starred as 'Lana Lang' in the WB series
"Smallville" and as the title character in the television movie
"Snow White" opposite Miranda Richardson.
Kreuk currently lives in Vancouver with her family when not
working.
