Cloud stood silently watching Sephiroth. And Sephiroth did the same with Cloud. The only difference was that Sephiroth was studying Cloud, not watching him mindlessly.
Sephiroth stood, and tied Cloud to the chair. Then he released him from his mind control. " Where am I?" Cloud asked drowsily. " Sephiroth!! Where am I!" Cloud then snarled, more awake.
Sephiroth simply said, " You are still not at full power."
" What the hell does that mean?!" Cloud asked, reaching for his Enemy Skill Materia. " It means that you cannot fight at full power. And you are still useless to me. Until you free yourself of darkness."
" Heh, I would think you would want the darkness to free itself of me" Cloud said coldly, now with his materia in hand. "Trine!" Cloud called out, his materia glowing. However Sephiroth didn't even move as the spell hit him.
" Prove yourself Cloud, destroy the darkness." Sephiroth said, vanishing into the shadows. The ropes around Cloud fell to the floor. Cloud stood up grabbing his sword.
" Cloud! Wait!!" A voice called out. Cloud stopped dead in his tracks. " Aeris.....?" He murmured. Cloud turned around slowly. Aeris sat there, on the floor, of wherever Sephiroth had taken him.
" Aeris!" He called out. he ran towards her. When he stopped in front of her however, he began to lose control. " Kill Her" The voice was overpowering, Cloud raised his sword. " n..NO!" he struggled to say. " Kill Her Cloud." The voice said once again, more demanding. " No...this isn't me...its Sephiroth...." Cloud tried to convince himself.
" Kill her NOW!" Cloud raised the sword high, and brought it down! " NOOOOOOOOOO!" Cloud screamed, twisting the sword into his own chest.
" Cure Three" Sephiroths voice cried. Cloud felt his pain fade away, along with the false image of Aeris.
Sephiroth stepped over to Cloud. " Excellent, you are ready.
Cloud's eyes glazed over. " Yes Sephiroth."
Yuffie sat up suddenly. Sitting in an old abandoned inn, with Red XIII. Red had wanted to explore an old section of Midgar. But so far there had been no sign of materia.
But that scream Yuffie had just heard sparked her interest.
" Was that Cloud" She thought to herself. She then decided to ditch Red, and search for Cloud. Yuffie walked down the old rainy streets of Midgar, Sector 2. Known for its infamous materia smuggling group. Shinra eventually cleared it out.
She had been wandering for what seemed to be hours, when she heard the voices. One was Cloud's but the other was, someone else's. Yuffie recognised it but couldn't remember who it was. Until she heard the voice she didn't know: " Two of your friends are near by, Cloud. Kill them" and then Cloud's voice: " Yes Master Sephiroth."
At that point Yuffie almost collapsed. " Sephiroth! It cant be! I gotta get outta here!" But when sure turned she saw Cloud standing in the way of her exit. And the only other way out was into the room with Sephiroth.
" Ummm hi Cloud." She said nervously " Hello Yuffie." Cloud replied, taking out his sword.........
