Cancers Detected at Stage IA by TVS Screening
This table summarizes the
screening program's experience with Stage IA ovarian cancers. All 8 of
the cases below represent a cancer caught by TVS imaging while it was
still early and curable; take special note that 7 of the 8 women were
considered normal on a physical exam, showing that a gynecological visit
alone would not have caught their cancers at such an early stage.
