One viewer’s experience with air leakage:
My experience to date, 4 whole nights of agony that feel like a lifetime...the leakage of air that occurs with each movement and with deeper relaxation is certainly a cause of awakening. Constantly adjusting the mask, or more likely removal is the inevitable result of air blowing forcefully on the eyes..the constant need to adjust the mask contributes to the excess pressure [of the straps] that then occurs at the next change of position or level of tension. Further, the bubblies slipping out through the lips are truly annoying...I found that I could not sleep except on my back, it just does not give me enough freedom of movement...I have worn a dental headgear attached to my braces for two years, it is not as if I have not adjusted to difficult things. |
