In reality, most of us jump between the two tours. We have peaks (when we feel loved and are happy) and valleys (when we feel unloved and sad). I found one of the differences between us is the amplitude and duration of our peaks and valleys.
These are just 2 examples of our emotional roller coaster. There are many other variations of this such as low amplitude, short duration highs, AND high amplitude, long duration lows, etc. Each one of us generally falls into a pattern that becomes our normal emotional cycle. Of course, major changes in our life can sometimes alter this, either temporarily or permanently.
It may be helpful, during self exploration, to draw our own graph. This may give us some insight into our emotional tendencies.
