It was a warm sunny day in delucia and we find our heroes Lathor and Lestat at the bank listening to the current rumors. People were all in an uproar about a new den of evil that had sprung up near Papua. It was said to contain the very hell spawn itself UNDEAD. Well… hearing this our heroes gathered a couple friends, Phoenix and Diablo and set out to rid the land of this foul scourge. Phoenix was an animal handler by trade and rode a great lizard like beast he had tamed himself. Diablo semmed a little bit proficient in everything that could hurt something...blade, bow, and spell. Calling upon the powers of the arcane they teleported themselves to Papua then headed west. Though the going was hard as they cut there way though dense jungle, Lestat thought they were lost, eventually they came upon a old ruined building. The stones of this building were covered with vines and moss and they could smell death upon the air. As they approached the smell of rotting flesh became almost overpowering. They paused outside the broken door to make their plans. “We must bring the foul beast out here into the light where they will be weak and we shant get surrounded” Lathor said. “Aye and I shall be able to heal you easier” said Lestat. So all agreed and Lathor bravely rode forward to draw them out. There a specter and a skeleton there upon us, but the plan worked Lathor drew his mighty sword slashing at the creatures enraging them and drew them into the light. Now the undead were surrounded sword and spells fell upon them like rain from heaven and released them from there foul curse. “A good start” Phoenix said and Diablo agreed. Lathor hadn’t met these two before today and was already impressed with Diablos handling of the mighty halberd also Phoenix knowledge of the arcane. A fine addition to the guild they will make if they decide to join. Lathor rode forward again but this time he met with less success the undead would not come into the sun. So he rode further in his friends following slowly they moved forward trying to evoke the creatures. Then two specters appeared behind them and the ones they were following closed ranks the fight was on again but they were holding there own. Lestat and Diablo drew the specters from behind out of the building and Lathor and Phoenix fought on. The fight was going well and soon they had the undead whittled down. Phoenix and his mighty ouster cobalt pushed though the remaining undead to capture some treasure, after all you’ve got to make a living. The last of the undead fell so Lathor decides to check on Lestat and Diablo. Moving out of the house Lathor discovers Lestat surrounded by three specters and he is hurt our hero rushes forward yelling his battle cry “SPOON.” Between him Lestat and Diablo the foul creatures were soon laid low. They looked around and discovered Phoenix never came out of the house. “Find him” Lestat yelled and Lathor turned for the house. Inside he found Phoenix fighting for his life from a new hell spawn of undead. They had backed him into a corner where he fought valiantly while the others tried to cut there way to him. Alas the creatures foul poison had begun to work on Phoenix and he weakened, still our heroes fought on. Then the creatures dragged Phoenix from the back of Cobalt to the floor it was over. No his friends yelled as there furry intensified there hard blades. The spawn fell on one side and the next as Lathor and Diablo drove upon them. Lestat called upon his arcane powers to finish off the last in a mighty burst of flame. They stood in silence for a moment over there fallen comrade but they couldn’t terry long for they Knew undead would again arise. Lathor gathered the remains of Phoenix in his great arms and carried him outside while Lestat used his influence over animals to bring cobalt along. A great sadness was on our heroes and all they could hope for was to see him in the next life.
