Before contacting any dating services you decide to consider for meeting single women, contact the local Better Business Bureau and other consumer information services for a report. Also, post messages on local BBS's and on-line services, and ask around where you find single's meeting.
If the responses are mostly negative about these dating services, then forget those companies and start searching again until you find one with a decent reputation. All dating services will tell you they have thousands and thousands of happy members and enjoy a wonderful reputation. Don't take their word for it!
