There
haven't been many girl drummers on the music scene here in
Lake County Florida. My first love has been playing jazz, but
heavy rock and power metal
(POD, Skillet,
Pillar, Creed, Dream Theatre, Guardian, Seven Dust, Angelica, Impellitteri, Kutless, Switchfoot, System of a Down, Extol,Zao,
Juliana Therory, Metalica, PAX217, Galactic Cowboys, Stryper,
Disturbed, Project 86, Messiah Prophet, Justified)
is what
my groove is now. I was adopted and my birth father was a
professional jazz drummer. I've played drums since i was like
6 years old. I would love to find my birth father some day
just to let him know that i have been playing drums most of my
life...i so wonder what he is doing now..if he is like playing
gigs somewhere....maybe he is somebody already famous...

My first Drum was a Gretch snare..and wow..wish i still had
it. I've been in the studio several times and would
probably do studio work all day if i could. I've played the
club scene and enjoyed the money it brought. Those gigs were
fun, but the music didn't glorify God at all. I have since
promised God that if I play in clubs again, I will glorify
Him!! Now i get high in a different Way!! Another dream that i
have now would be to play in a JazzClub playing Acid and
Smooth Jazz. I love the grooves of smooth jazz because the
rhythems just flow through me. You know you are drumming when
the music moves your soul! Okay..what about what i am doing
now.. I am presently on my worship team at my church .
We do alot of contemporary christian music. . My current
situation is wanting to get another band going. I know it will
happen in God's time, not mine. God will hand pick who
He wants me to play with and i know it will be an increddible
groove.

I took
ballet lessons when i was in kindergarten. I loved dancing and
i remember my first ballet shoes. They were pink. Pink is my
fav color, but maybe you guessed that already since most of my
font color is pink. :) You would think that more drum
companies would come out with a pink kit. I know i would buy
it. Hmmm....there is that gretch snare drum again. and that
was my first drum set..a piece of junk ludwig that my dad
bought at a pond shop for like $50..back then $50 was alot of
money..:)
My sister is behind me and that guy with the guitar, well, his
name was Robbie. I wonder what ever happened to him... He
lived down the street. We had a blast on saturday afternoons
jamming. I think i was only 7 in this picture.
My sister and I
acted like these penguins most of the time. My parents
taught us how to defend ourselves well . You can guess who the
one is that is getting slapped.. :)

my ballet
picture..check out the red hair..my gosh..i love it..:)
