Welcome to Kymystical Magic Greetings from Kymystical Magic! (kem' istical) We are a company specializing in new and creative ways to present "alchemy magic". It is our goal to give meaning and purpose to the art by providing quality effects and well documented materials.
What is Alchemy Magic? Alchemy is the art of combining science with magic or mysticism. Alchemists are generally remembered to be people who were on a quest to change lead to gold and find the elixer of life. Alchemists discovered the elements of this earth could be combined to create great power and mystery. While some of them used their knowledge for trickery and deceit, many tried to better mankind. Most historical alchemy texts were written in a secret mystical code. It is unclear if the alchemist really was trying to make real gold from lead. Some have surmised this process was a metaphor for improving ones own self.
BUT we do owe much to the alchemists. From Alchemy came the SCIENCE of chemisty. The magic part of the equation was replaced with LOGIC. Many of today's chemistry apparatus were discovered by these weavers of science and magic.
Alchemy Magic uses science and chemistry to create wonder. Kymystical Magic has tried to take the "science look" out of its product line and PUT BACK THE MAGIC element. If a magician learns this type of magic, he or she will be reconnecting their roots as magi.
Kymystical Magic assures you that all the effects have been designed to be safe for use and storage when the instructions are properly followed. We have spent countless hours creating NEW magic as well as updating classic chemical magic so that it is safe and practical for performance use. The majority of the chemicals provided in the effects are "chemicals" that you are exposed to in your everyday life, like table salt.
Please don't dismiss this type of magic just because it involves "chemicals". That is like saying "She was hidden in the box" or "It was done with a really clever pass." The audience will not be aware chemicals are being used if the magic is properly presented.
