Characters

Harry Potter - Known as "the boy who lived" after surviving Lord Voldemort's killing curse at the age of one. Harry is a skilled student in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Ronald Weasley - Harry's best and loyal friend. He is the sixth child of Arthur and Molly's children who attended Hogwarts.

Hermione Granger - Her intelligence in magic and courage always helps Harry and Ron in times of trouble.

Draco Malfoy - A Slytherin in Harry's same year, Draco loaths Harry and his friends. He has two henchmen, Crabbe and Goyle.

Ginny Weasley- Ginny, a Gryffindor, is one year younger than Ron, her older brother. She is the only girl and the youngest of the Weasley family.

Neville Longbottom- Although he is forgetful, Neville is a brave Gryffindor student who helps Harry in times of trouble.

Oliver Wood- Previous Captain and Keeper of the Gryffindor Quiddich team, Oliver is no longer in Hogwarts, having completed all seven years.

Percy Weasley- Previously in Gryffindor, Percy now works in the Ministry of Magic.

Cho Chang- Cho is the Seeker for the Ravenclaw quidditch team and one year older than Harry. Although Harry may have fancied her previously, he now just considers her a friend. He does not have the same feelings for her.

Penelope Clearwater-Head girl and Percy's girlfriend in Harry's second year.

Katie Bell- A chaser for the Gryffindor Quiddich team.

Fred and George Weasley- Ron's twin older brothers always cause mischief. They were Beaters in Gryffindor's quiddich team, until they-oh, just read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to find out what happened!

Lee Jordan- Lee, a Gryffindor, is the announcer of every Quidditch match and Fred and George's best friend.

Lavender Brown- A Gryffindor student in Harry's year.

Colin Creevey-A Gryffindor fan of Harry's, who formerly took hundreds of pictures of Harry. His life is a little less devoted to Harry, now. He was petrified when the Chamber of Secrets was opened.

Dennis Creevey-Colin's younger brother.

Vincent Crabbe- One of Malfoy's best Slytherin friends.

Gregory Goyle-Another Slytherin friend of Malfoy's.

Ernie Macmillan-A friend of Justin Finch-Fletchley.

Justin Finch-Flecthley- He was petrified when the Chamber of Secrets was opened.

Hannah Abbott- A Hufflepuff student.

Cedric Diggory- A Rawenclaw student/prefect who died during the Twizarding Tournament.

Luna Lovegood- A Ravenclaw student who's dad is the writer of The Quibbler. She is also Ginny's friend.

Albus Dumbledore - The greatest sorcerer in the world and former Transfiguration teacher, Dumbledore is currently the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He helps Harry in times of grief, helping him with his wisdom, patience, and justice or fairness.

Minerva McGonagall - The Transfiguration teacher, head of Gryffindor House, and Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts. She may be strict at times, but she is a great teacher and a very nice person.

Severus Snape - The evil-looking Potions teacher and head of Slytherin House, Snape always appears mean and stern, and is very serious.

Professor Quirrel - Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Harry's first year. Voldemort had been living off Quirrel from the back of his head. He tried to steal the Sorcerer's Stone and got himself killed.

Gilderoy Lockhart - The Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Harry's second year. He is very conceited, and is believed to not know any "real" magic, and all his books and writings are fake and publical. Gilderoy lost his memory in the same year as the curseOblivious backfired. He is still treated in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.

Remus J. Lupin - Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Harry's third year. Because of the fact he is a werewolf, Professor Lupin resigned from being a teacher.

Mad-Eye-Moody- This Auror was kidnapped and locked in a chest by Barty Crouch Jr. He was supposed to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Harry's fourth year (Barty Crouch Jr. drank a polyjuice potion to look like Moody so it would be easier to get Harry killed). Moody's magical eye could see through everything, making him one of the best Aurors.

Dolores Jane Umbridge-The Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, High Inquisitor, and once the temporary Headmaster of Hogwarts in Harry's fifth year, being the meanest teacher of all. She also works in the Ministry of Magic. After a severe centaur tragedy, she lost the job as the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher for her inhumane punishments and propaganda.

Sybil Trelawney - The fraudulent mystical Divination teacher. She teaches her students to read tea leaves and gaze into crystal balls. She is constantly pretending to predict Harry's death. She has only made two correct predictions.

Professor Sprout - The chubby Herbology teacher. She takes some precaution, and does a good job. She also made Neville faint with the cries of the Mandrakes.

Professor Binns - The only ghost teacher. He teaches History of Magic.

Rubeus Hagrid - Hagrid is the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. He becomes the Care of Magical Creatures teacher in Harry's third year because the former teacher wnated to "spend time with his remaining limbs", as Dumbledore said. Hagrid is a half-giant and has a brother, Grawp. He is one of Harry's greatest friends.

Nearly Headless Nick - The Gryffindor Ghost. He is older than 600, and his head is held on to his body by a small piece of flesh. He is very friendly. (Real name: Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington)

The Fat Friar - The Hufflepuff Ghost. He is very welcoming and good humored.

The Grey Lady - The Ravenclaw Ghost. Not much to say... :D

Bloody Barron -The Slytherin Ghost. His bloody suit and sword may not cheer you, and neither does his personality...
