BASKETBALL EVALUATIONS

 

 

Each of our basketball leagues will be holding evaluations before the start of the season.  We strongly encourage all new players attend evaluations.  Below is information concerning evaluations.  All players will be placed on a team – no players are cut.  Please note that requests to play on a certain team, with a specific coach and/or with other players can not be guaranteed but are often honored.  However, requests from players who do NOT attend evaluations will not be considered.

 

ATLANTIC 10 (7 and 8 year old girls and boys):  Only NEW players to the league should attend evaluations.  Players who played in the Atlantic 10 last year do not need to attend. Evaluations will be held on Sunday, October 18 at Highland Park Elementary School.  Players whose last name begins with A thru M should arrive at 9:30 am and players whose last name begins with N thru Z should arrive at 10:15 am.  All coaches should attend evaluations and arrive at 9:00 am.  We will draft players following evaluations.

 

BIG EAST BOYS (9 and 10 year old boys):  ALL players playing in the Big East Boys league this year should attend evaluations. Evaluations will be held on Sunday, October 11 at Highland Park Elementary School at 10:00 am.  All coaches should attend evaluations and arrive at 9:30 am. 

 

BIG EAST GIRLS (9 and 10 year old girls):  ALL players playing in the Big East Girls league this year should attend evaluations. Evaluations will be held on Monday, October 12 at 6:30 pm OR Sunday, October 18 at Highland Park Elementary School at 1:00 pm.  All coaches should attend evaluations. We are also asking one parent to attend evaluations. NOTE:  We are looking for a Big East Girls commissioner or volunteers to help run the games during the season (keep score, keep time and ensure rules are being followed).  If you are interested, please let us know at evaluations.

 

ACC BOYS (11, 12 and 13 year old boys):  ALL players playing in the ACC Boys should attend evaluations.  Evaluations will be held on Sunday, November 1st at Beverly Hill Middle School Back Gym at 10:00 am.  All coaches should attend evaluations and arrive at 9:30 am. 

 

ACC GIRLS (11,12 and 13 year old girls):  PLEASE SEE OUR BASKETBALL PAGE FOR MORE INFO.  Evaluation information should be on the website by 10/31/09.

 

NBA (14, 15, 16 year olds):  ALL players playing in the NBA league this year should attend evaluations.  Evaluations will be held on Sunday, November 1st at Beverly Hill Middle School Back Gym at 12:00 noon.  All coaches should attend evaluations and arrive at 11:30 am
