Better read the rules before joining Hogwarts*Online! Always follow them, or it result in big loss of House Points...
No players may take the roles of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, or Ronald Weasley. It makes many other of the players jealous, and everyone should feel equal.
No player may be anyone except for a Professor or student at Hogwarts! If we had parents of students and nieces of Professors, etc... it would be too mind-boggling. =)
You may never play someone else's character! Only play the role of your own.
Each player may only play two characters at once! If you do not want to play your character anymore then please e-mail me.
Please try to act like your character; have the same personalty, IE Neville Longbottom would not always be smart & cunning, try to make him clumsy and 'squib-ish'. =)
No characters may be animagis, have special magical powers, etc!
All characters remain in the same year throughout, and their year is based on Book 3. (Yes, I've heard of Book 4 ;) but this way Percy Weasley and some other characters can still be part of Hogwarts)
Yes, there are Quidditch & House Cups but they are really not that big of a deal, so if you were playing Hermione Granger then you would try hard to get the answers right, but if you were Neville Longbottom you would say something like this in Potions for your answer: *Neville spills his potion all over and gets scolded by Professor Snape*
Let's say my name was Sarah & I am playing Ronald Weasley. On the message board I would state my name as RonWeasley, not Sarah.
