An interior room of Battery Gates.


This pillar is all that remains of the Gun Group
Supplementary Station
. It was a three-story wooden
observing station built in 1916. Later it was converted
into the searchlight controller's station.

The BC & CRF Station for Battery Gates, built in 1942.
The lower level was for the Battery Commander, and the
top level was the CRF Station.

Instrument base on the upper level of the BC/CRF tower.

A reproduced 11-inch Dahlgren cannon located in a casemate.

Exterior wall of the original fort.

Built in 1943, the BC & CRF Station for Battery Hindman sits atop
the old fort. The Battery Commander was inside, and the CRF
Station was on the roof.
