Lieutenant David J. Boisselle, U.S. Navy (Retired) David Boisselle is currently employed as Director of Military Affairs at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. His final ssignment was as Chief, Support Division, in the Operations, Plans, Logistics and Engineering Directorate (J3/4), U.S. Joint Forces Command in Norfolk, Virginia. He retired from active duty in February 2009. Lieutenant Boisselle, the son of James and Louise Boisselle of Lynn, Massachusetts, entered the Naval Service as an enlisted Sailor in April 1980. After 16 years as a yeoman, attaining the rank of senior chief petty officer, he was commissioned as a chief warrant officer in 1997. He was selected for the Limited Duty Officer Program in 2000 and promoted to lieutenant junior grade. Lieutenant Boisselle’s operational tours were with Commander, Service Group 2 as Flag Writer, combat stores ship USS Concord (AFS 5) as Ship’s Secretary, the World Famous Screwtops of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 123 embarked in aircraft carrier USS America (CV 66) as Administrative Department Leading Chief Petty Officer, aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) as Ship’s Secretary, Educational Services Officer, and Morale Welfare and Recreation Officer; and the Valions of Strike Fighter Squadron 15 as Administrative Officer. Shore duty assignments include Flag Writer at Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet; Administrative Officer and Legal Officer (Acting) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Washington, DC; and Administrative Officer on the staff of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s Commander in Chief, West Atlantic, in Norfolk, Virginia. Lieutenant Boisselle has been awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), and Good Conduct Medal (four awards). He is designated as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Golden Gate University (1985), a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Troy State University (2002), and a Master of Science degree in Education from Troy University (2006).
