Virginia Beach, Va., Feb. 12, 2009 - Hampton Roads Navy Mustang Association partnered with Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit Hampton Roads to bring the Seaman to Admiral-21 Program Career Days to more than 200 Sailors at Naval Station Norfolk and Naval Air Station Oceana.  To read coverage by the "Jet Observer", click HERE. ________________________________________________

Norfolk, Va., Jun. 23, 2008 - Hampton Roads Navy Mustang Association hosted LDO/CWO Program Application Reviews at NAS Oceana and Naval Station Norfolk on June 21 and 23.  More than 50 local Sailors availed themselves of the opportunity to have Mustang Officers, some of whom are former In-Service Procurement Board members, review their LDO/CWO applications in anticipation of the October 1 deadline.

Norfolk, Va., Mar. 21, 2008 - Hampton Roads Navy Mustang Association sponsored LDO/CWO Program Career Days at Naval Station Norfolk and Naval Air Station Oceana to brief Sailors on eligibility and application procedures for the upcoming application cycle.  As a special value-added, several In-Service Procurement Board members debriefed the Sailors on ways they can make themselves more competitive for selection.  More than 250 Sailors attended the Career Days.  To view the PowerPoint presentation, click here.

Norfolk, Va., Feb. 22,  2008  - Hampton Roads Navy Mustang Association sponsored Seaman to Admiral-21 Program Career Days at Naval Station Norfolk and Naval Air Station Oceana to brief Sailors on eligibility and application procedures for the STA-21 enlisted-to-officer accession program.  More than 300 Sailors attended the Career Days.  To view the PowerPoint presentation, click here.

Norfolk, Va., Sep. 20,  2007  - Hampton Roads Navy Mustang Association hosted a Golf Tournament at the Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek's Eagle Haven Golf Course.  Attendees had the unique opportunity to play golf and swap sea stories in a beautiful setting.  HR-NMA plans to make this an annual event and encourage Mustangs to mark their calendars for September 2008.

Norfolk, Va., Jul. 21,  2007  - Hampton Roads Navy Mustang Officers hosted Sailors at two days of "LDO/CWO Program Career Days" at Naval Station Norfolk and Naval Air Station Oceana on Jun. 21 and 22.  Attendees had the unique opportunity to bring their program applications and/or field service records for review.

Portsmouth, Va., Dec. 20, 2006 (NNS) -- USS Harry S. Truman's (CVN 75) Mustang Association will be donating approximately 120 coats to the WAVY TV 10's Coats for Kids drive on Dec. 23.  The Association held their own drive Dec. 7 through 13 while at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth.  MORE
