Support Options

The Housing Resource & Support Service Inc. recognizes that securing accommodation can sometimes be only a part of the total requirement. Many people also need additional support to live independently in the community, such as:

• In-home Accomodation Support(IHAS)
• Visiting nursing services
• Home and Community Care (HACC)
• Social support services

Once the nature of support has been determined the workers link people to the service they require. Where services are unavailable or inadequate, the Case Coordinator will advocate for the service to be more responsive to the needs of people with physical disability.
