Do I have to be a computer expert to learn HTML?
No. You only need the following skills: 1) Basic Windows knowledge, 2) know how to use a word processor and web browser. i.e. Word Pad, Note Pad and IE, AOL or Netscape browser... etc.

Do I need any HTML software on my computer to run HTML?
No. You only need a web browser. i.e. Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, ... etc.

How long would it take me to have a HTML web page running on the World Wide Web?
Not too long. It may take you just a few minutes. Try to get a very simple HTML template, modify it. Upload it to an ISP, then run it there.

Can I run HTML without any graphic images?
Yes, you can. You can code your HTML without any images at the beginning, when you learn more HTML tags, then you can run it with graphic images, photos, audio or video clips... etc.

Can I use any tools to generate HTML tags?
Yes, you can use tools to generate HTML tags. However, most tools nowadays also generate Java scripts. It may make you a beginner too confusing. i.e. SeaMonkey is a HTML Editor.

Where can I find a blank HTML web page?
You can find it in our Sample Site(Tutorial page) or in any beginner's book for HTML.

Where can I find some simple HTML web pages?
You can find it in our Graphic(Project page) or in any beginner's book for HTML. We have some very simple HTML web pages with only background color, background tile, bullets, buttons and separators ... etc.

What is HTML stands for?
It is Hyper Text Markup Language. One way to use it is to link up all text, images, photos, audio, video clips... etc together on the web pages that is run on the World Wide Web(WWW). Please see details in our Advance level tutorial(w3.org).

How do I know if I have visitors after I upload my web page (site) to my ISP?
Your ISP may provide you tools to check your site statistics.

How come I did not have visitors after after I upload my web page (site) to my ISP?
You have to do site promotion and marketing so that people know your site's existence. Just like when you have a new email address, you will tell your friends your email address. In this case, you have to tell people your URL which is the address of your web site and web pages. We will offer courses in site promotion soon.
