You will need good foot ware for this cache Some minor bush wacking will be involved, but well worth it. You can park within 100 feet of the cache. At the cache site you will be well hidden, so look the cache over and trade. Might not be so good at dusk, as the bugs will be rough then. |
I had originally placed this cache at a different location close to some urban art on the side of the expressway. It seems it was too close to a railroad track. My first geo-spanking occurred, as the listing was archived. If you like adventure, search this area and find the art.
This cache is now over 300 feet from the railway in a wooded area. It is a medium size ammo can painted dark green and packed full of goodies. Once again this proves urban caches do not have to be micros.
Research shows this is a county park- Sun Kiss Park.

DJRadioJack was the cacher who turned me on to Lock'n'Lock containers. I have enjoyed his caches, and was sorry to hear of his passing.
Did this one with the kids. Took Jimmy Neutron and another toy, left alien and car. Tall exotic grasses are closing the entrance, but the clearing remains. Watch your step on the way in and out or you will be covered in sandspurs (ouch). TFTC! Motogrrls were here (This will be one of the last stops for RF#2 before heading to South Africa).

I have adopted this cache since the sad and untimely passing of djradiojack. We went by and checked on it today and it is fine, ready and waiting to be found again. I added a couple of our new signature pins.
djradiojack was an active cacher and hid many fine caches in this area. He will be missed... I'll do my best to keep this fine cache of his up and running in his memory.
