This area is what geocaching is all about - taking you to the strange and uncommon places in your hometown.
Very interesting little park. Have fun searching for it, watch your step - there are lots of sharp sticks just waiting to poke your feet. See if you can discover the reason behind the cache's name.
It seems like most people's GPS units tend to jump around in here. Here is some reassurance - it is where you are :)
There is a gate and a security guard who most likely will not let you in after hours. Here are the posted hours of the location.
Monday through Saturday 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

Had no idea this area was in back. Love to visit. Could not locate cache. Area was quite overgrown.

This is one of my favorite places. Been here and seen it many times before I started 'caching -- to think somebody had hid something there the whole time...

Might I suggest checking an aerial on Google Maps for the directionally impaired. I should have drove straight to the site based on the title, but sometimes I cache with half my brain disengaged. I suspect this is owned or leased by one of the nurseries across the street as the live oaks are planted in rows and some appear prepped for field transplantation.

Anyway, I read the hint and thought I knew what I was looking for. I changed my mind when I spotted an item that would connect the cache hint to a literary reference. I felt like a real NIMH-rod when that didn’t pan out. Based on the last find, I extended my search and found it. Took keychain and blue M&M, left snail shells and Boba Fett.
For those of you that don’t know our most common native weed, Bidens alba var. radiata, aka Spanish needles, this is a great place to get to know it ;).
