Urban Wilderness in Kendall, level but rocky ground. Requires a half to one mile of walking, each way. The cache is in a round tuperware container with a green top. It contains a little something for everyone in the family. It is not buried.

You may arrive by car or by rail
but if you drive, prepare to hit the trail.
To the north or south you may leave your car.
It is another mile or so, if that far.
Where the tracks cross the road you'll begin your tramp
to discover the cache at the hobo's camp.

Thanks to Brad A. for the use of his GPS.

Approached all the way from Kendall Dr. but there is parking along a utility easement much closer. This might not be the best cache to take little ones (or a bike)along with as some walking the tracks was necessary.

I replaced the container with a lock N lock. Old container(with one remaining item) is buried under the duff about 8 feet south of the cache next to a burnt stump. A very damp pooh towel was stored under an overhang about 3-4 feet south of the cache.

This is disturbed land with some remnants of pine rockland vegetation. Not bad for an urban hike, just watch out for trains. Took dolphin bracelet. TFTC!

Found this while out on a cache run with MinorThreat. Together, we make up TeamHangover! On our way to Fort Myers just a little under the weather we end up way down south Dade! Being the cachers we had some coords!! I did find out Miami is not that bad caching if you get there early on a Sunday morning.
Did this the Teamsnook way. I think the Seaaggie footTrax way would be better.
Thanks fgor the fun.

Found this while out on a cache run with TeamSnook. Together, we make up TeamHangover! Funny thing is that we were supposed to end up in Fort Myers! Once the fog from the Hangover cleared, we realized we were in Miami! Good thing we had some coords!!

We did this the TeamSnook way. Don't ask, you don't want to know! We were overjoyed to get this one off our list! Thanks for the fun!

I've wanted to find this one for a long time. I chose the approach from the north and got a nice workout. Thanks for the exercise!!
