This cache is located just outside of Everglades National Park. A short walk, but bring a bike and check out the area past the cache site. There are some interesting things to see further down the road. Bring bug spray if you do this one in the hot months as the deer flies can be vicious and the area may get mucky in the rainy season so be prepared. Keep your eyes open for wildlife and your ears open for the sound of a radial engine since there is a crop duster that flies the area frequently (not over where you'll be, though!). Florida Caching

When we read the logs, we weren't sure about toting the kiddos with us. Rain didn't deter us. Celebrated our 50th find here. Our 11 yo found it. Loved the hike and the container. Took spiderman and left Foottrax Hooxie Scout Geocoin.

1030 Nice hike, good to get the blood flowing in the AM. Since we were so far away from home and not having our usual gear, which includes protection, I was a little leery to go through that unfamiliar terrain but what the heck we're adventurous too. After we determined that our GPS was close we started looking for the human tracks. Luckily saw what I hoped was it rather quickly. Not easy to access but that was it. Unfortunately this was our last cache in Florida. SL TNL rain forest frog & signature card. Greetings from Las Vegas, NV.

Made the walk and did the serious bushwhack but all to no avail. No sign of the cache after 1/2 hour of tromping all around. This one is definitely more than a 1/1.5* rating. The only salvations of the effort were we did not get snake or alligator bit and we did find the benchmark on the bridge.
