Hear are the carb & exoust pipe
The carb. is built from plans printed in S.I.C. magazine ( see links)
and is made from 3/4(.750)  X 3/4  360 brass. It is a two jet carb. with throtel !
The exoust pipe is just a peice of  5/16(.3125) thick wall brass tubing bent and threded 5/16 24 nf on one end .
The timing belt and timing pullyes are stock parts from MSC pullyes have had the hubs removed and set screw holes drilled & taped in the center of the actual pullys , and have had keyways cut for round keys
The ideler pully is just made from scrap alu.,brass, and steel ,and another ball bearing from a diegrinder
This is what i have gotten done on the water pump so far .
The gears are from a cordless drill planetarry set and have ben ground to .193 for now but will get ground more latter after i cut the pockets in the housing for them.
The housing is 3/4 X3/4  360 brass         ( same peice used for the carb. and all the brass on the maverick)
This is my first try at building a radeator , but i think it turned out OK!
the tanks are made from reshaped brass tubing , the cores are just 1/8 in brass tubing as is the overflow , the fins are .005 brass sheet ( next time I will use .010 or .015)  the end plates/stands are .030 X .750 brass plate bent into a "U" beam shape , the inlet & outlet are just 1/4 in OD. brass tubing.
The part that gets the most att. when i show it to others is the cap and filler neck. I decided to make a 1/4 turn cap for it and it turned out great!!!!!!!!!!!
