Hycrome Industries 'Thane (India)Our 6 meter tank shall is operational
At Hycrome Industries 'Thane, we have started 'Controlled Hard Chrome Plating', whereby a uniform thickness of plating can be deposited, and components can be maintained within the specified tolerances without the necessity of expensive and time consuming post plating grinding operations.
Several recent developments in the Hard Chrome plating technology have resulted in deposits with vastly improved properties such as hardness, brightness and plating uniformity. Hard chrome plating has essentially a micro cracked structure. With new plating technologies, it is possible to obtain higher crack densities. This results in a significantly improved corrosion resistance of the chrome layer and therefore a much longer service life can be obtained from the components. These deposits also have a higher surface hardness of 68-70 HRC as compared with the hardness of 61-63 HRC obtained from a conventional bath.
