Most of the respondents live less than one year with their partner. All males and females cohabiting more than five years are getting married this year. |
As expected, males have had more experience with different partners than females. We can conclude that men are more liberal than women. Moreover, it can be connected with male's positive thoughts towards cohabitation. |

Most male's parents are indifferent to the relationship of their son. With female's, however, there is a big difference among cultures, 22% females who answered 'Indifferent' are all western women, while 56% females who answered "they do not know about my cohabitation" are all Asian women. The interesting fact is that 22% of the females having chosen 'opposed' are Asian women whose parents found out their cohabitating. |

The main reason for cohabitating for males and females is to avoid loneliness. Besides loneliness, financial reason and an experimentation before marriage are important to females. | ![]() |
Most women intend to marry their partner, while only half of the men intend to get married. The female respondents who said 'Yes' are 23% more than the male respondents. It means a significant number of females misunderstood their partners intention to marry. | ![]() |
