Anne McCaffrey is probably my favorite author, and has been writing since before I was born. Her Pern series is great, and, in my opinion, the best series ever. I have been buying, and collecting, her books since I could afford too, and do have most of them, including other series besides Pern, and some of the non-Science fiction and fantasy she's written.
Anne McCaffrey stirs the imagination of many, and blends science and fantacy into her books. She is one of the few writers I keep up with, and will, as long as she continues to write, and I hope that is a long time.
