| Kacy's sister still didn't have many friends, for she acted better than them. Kacy new better. |
| "Rose, I can help you, but you have to give up being a star," Kacy said. |
| "How do you know?" Rose asked. |
| "I did the same thing," Kacy said, smiling. |
| "Okay, why not?" Rose said. |
| "The first thing to do is dress in wacky clothes, but don't get dressed up too fancy," Kacy said. |
| By the end of the month, Rose had lots of friends too. Kacy and Rose both felt proud, but only Kacy knew why. When Rose asked who gave Kacy the advice, Kacy would answer, "a good friend, Rose, a good friend." |
