The Arena, located at 5700 Oakland Ave., St. Louis, MO, 63110 and whose telephone number was (314) 644-0900, was hailed as the most modern sports facility of her time. Politics and mankinds impatience tore her down in 1999. She had a capacity of 20,000 and housed the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Eagles (NHL), St. Louis Hawks (NBA), the Spirits of St. Louis (ABA), the old St. Louis Steamers (MISL), the St. Louis Storm (MISL), the Ambush (NPSL), the St. Louis Bombers, the St. Louis Braves, the St. Louis University Billikens (NCAA), and the St. Louis Vipers (RHI). Kiel Auditorium
1934-1992
Home to the St. Louis Hawks (NBA) and the St. Louis University Billikens (NCAA). It seated 9,300 and was located at 1401 Clark Avenue, St. Louis, MO, 63103 (the current address of the Kiel Center). It was torn down in 1992 to make way for the state-of-the-art Kiel Center, which was built on its site.

The Kiel Center, located at 1401 Clark Avenue St. Louis, MO, 63103, (314) 622-5400, was built in 1994 to replace the old Kiel Auditorium. It seats 19,260 and is adjoined by the Kiel Opera House. The Kiel is home to the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis University Billikens. The Vipers and Stampede (Arena Football) used to play there until they folded. The Ambush played there as well, but had their lease cancelled, possibly to make way for a new NBA team.

The Family Arena is located at 2002 Arena Parkway, St. Charles, MO, 63303, (636) 896-4200 and seats 11,400 fans. It is home to the St. Louis Swarm, St. Louis Steamers, and the Missouri River Otters.
