Past, Present, and Future Football Stadiums/Domes

Sportsman's Park II

1902-1966

The St. Louis Browns (originally the original Milwaukee Brewers who moved to St. Louis) played here from 1902-1953 and the St. Louis Cardinals (originally the original St. Louis Browns) played here from 1920-1966. Sportsman's Park II was built on the same location as the original Sportsman's Park, except home plate was moved to the West/Southwest corner of the stadium. The St. Louis Football Cardinals played here from 1960-1965. Sportsman's Park was renamed Busch Stadium in 1953 when the Browns left for Baltimore and the Cardinals bought the stadium.
