Congratulations to the 1999 Ralph Backstrom Cup Champions, the St. Louis Vipers!
Unfortunately, the Vipers have now folded. Here is their press release:
"For immediate release:
January 27, 2000,
The St. Louis Vipers In-Line Hockey Club, L.L.C. has been dissolved according to all state and federal laws and requirements as of December 29, 1999.
There will be no Year 2000 season. As such there will be no open positions in the team's front office and no player tryouts. Also, we are unable to fulfill any requests for charitable donations.
The Vipers regret any disappointment that this may cause our very loyal fans. The players and management want to thank each and every fan for their years of support."
