Intimate Pte Ltd, was form in Sep 2004. The company was formulated by 3 principle officers consisting of S.M Tan, Y.H Toh and J.W Won.
Prior to the formation of the company, we have already gathered a combine experience of 15 years in the retailer and customer service line. Our office is currently located at No. 168 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 Singapore 560168.
Deciding on the right product to market has become a important factor in order for a fully web-based business to be successful. Try doing a search on a product using a search engine on the web and you might end up having hundreds and thousands of hit for that particular product. My point being, if you are selling something that is very common on the website, chances are, your URL might be easily ignored as there are hundreds of them out there. But if you venture into marketing a product that is not so common, your chances of user clicking on your website are much higher.
Based on the local context, Singaporean are basically shy and conservative in nature as our forefathers have inculcate this values into us. Kisses on both sides of the cheek when greeting each other or saying goodbye are common amongst European friends. But if you try to do it here locally, you might even get a slap on the face.
With that in mind, we sat down on brainstorm on a product that customer can browse online at their comfort of their home without feeling shy and worry about others looking at them like a alien. Then it strike our mind that why don't we try and venture into adult oriented toys such as vibrators, condoms and kinky toys. There aren't many such sites around that are base locally after we did a search on the web, thus reduces the fear of competition.
