You’ve spent many long hours piecing your guilt top, and now it’s time to celebrate your creativity.  Machine quilting offers a wonderuful alternative to hand quilting.  You may choose from many patterns to compliment your quilt top, from edge-to-edge designs that give your quilt texture, or to custom designs that coordinate with your piecing. Then choose the thread color, and wait for your masterpiece to come alive!!! Pricing: Edge-to Edge    $0.01 sq. inch (1 cent) Custom ..  $0.015 sq. inch (1 1/2 cents) Heirloom   $0.02 sq. inch (2 cents) Basting (to prepare for hand quilting)..$0.005 sq. inch (1/2 cent) Thread . $1.00 + tax per bobbin used (Includes new needle for your quilt).  Extra charge for specialty threads or more that three thread colors. * Edge-to-Edge quilting consists of one design quilted repeatedly across your quilt top, ignoring blocks and borders.  Also included in this category is large meandering (as around as half-dollar). * Custom quilting comprises the creation and sizing of coordinating quilting designs in order to fill your blocks and borders  Also included in this category are small meandering (as around a dime), continuous curve stitching in-the-ditch and freehand quilting an all-over design * Heirloom quilting encompasses several different coordinating designs, sized and drafted especially for your quilt, and executed in more detail than custom quilting.  Also included in this category are echo quilting, cross-hatching and true stitch in the ditch.
