Shadows of Light
In the Darkness of the Night,
no longer does Life give me Light.
Hide me Shadows from my pain,
may the Light shine once again.
In the Shadows I am hidden,
from a life, now forbidden.
In the Light did I once walk,
until the Blood do I now stalk.
Immortal sin within my pain,
death of mortal mind I gain.
Silent hunter of the Night,
Dim darkness spread by solemn light.
Fog that rises from the grave,
This path I bear is rough, unpaved.
He, the Light took Heart from thee,
Escape the Darkness I alone see.
If the shape I take does change,
again my life will rearrange.
In air, water, or on the Earth,
these forms of life gave us birth.
In the Darkness of the Night,
no longer does Life give me Light.
Hide me Shadows from my pain,
may the Light shine once again.
