Tea was the subject of a ladies meeting I was invited to.
The speaker was Pat from Lisa's Tea and Treasures of Los Gatos.

Information from Pat's talk.
TO MAKE A GOOD CUP OF TEA.
Begin with good water, fresh and cold. Bring the water to just below boiling. Use 1 teaspoon for every 2 cups of water. Put the tea loose in the pot which is warmed. Brew 3-5 minutes. Gently stir and use a strainer when you pour into your cup.
Green tea has no caffeine
Oo-long has 1/4 the caffeine of coffee
Black tea has 1/2 the caffeine of coffee
Tea will retain its flavor 6 -12 months in a sealed container.
If kept out of the sun and not in the refrigerator, which introduces moisture.
ICED TEA
came into being at the St. Lewis World's Fair. With the temperature being 100 degrees, a tea vendor realized that no one would like hot tea. So he came up with the idea of putting ice in it and people loved it.

Our visit to Lisa's Tea and Treasures of Los Gatos.

Not only did I enjoy her talk, we went to have tea there. It was a very pleasant experience. We had their light tea. Most of us ordered a different selection, and each came with a different flavor of tea in a pot. So we spent a pleasant afternoon tasting different teas. They ranged from an English breakfast tea to one called Banana Split. The Banana Split was very good it had a taste of a banana bread. But I think every one enjoyed the Victorian Rose with its very distinctive flavor of rose.
