Robert TOZER married Jane TOLCHER in December 1785 at Totnes, Devon, England.
Robert's parents were William TOZER and Jane (UNKNOWN) and not known when they were married.
Jane was one of nine children of William TOLCHER and Mary COOKE who were married at Totnes in December 1746.

Robert TOZER was a son of Robert and Jane and was born in November 1793, location unknown.  He married Amelia TOLCHER about 1810.

A son of Robert and Amelia was James, born at Chivelstone?, Devon in November 1815.  He married Elizabeth Sarah HEATH in September 1845, born at Kingsbridge, Devon in October 1827.   Elizabeth's parents were Peter HEATH and Mary STEER.  James and Elizabeth immigrated to Australia where their first child John was born at Adelaide in March 1847.
They later journeyed on to New Zealand, where they got a Crown Grant for 90 acres of land at Cowans Bay, Mahurangi Harbour in October 1854.  (Mahurangi Harbour is about 45 km north of Auckland city)  A couple of years later the family moved around to the 'middle branch of the Matakana River'.  Later they settled back at the Mahurangi River, where a farm of 176 acres (called "Puriri Farm") at Te Kapa, had been purchased in July 1861.
There were 11 known children born:  John in 1847; Mary Elizabeth 1848, Elizabeth Emily 1849, Robert Edwin 1851, James Henry 1855, Edward Alfred 1857, Louisa Heath 1860, Amelia 1861, Mary Ann Heath 1863, William 1867 and Joseph William 1872.

Elizabeth Tozer MOOR may have been brought up by them after her mother (Emma MOOR) died in 1879

Amelia married Joseph William MOORE in October 1887 at Mahurangi Heads Church, Mahurangi, north of Auckland.  Joseph (known as Will) and Amelia had six children: Claude William born September 1888; Daniel Victor, March 1891; Adela Mary Hazel, April 1892; Myrtle Emily May, 1895; Edna Amelia Holly, November 1897 and Zinnia Melva Edith, October 1902.

Joseph appears to have been engaged to Mary BLACK of Aberdeen in Scotland.  Not known how he met Mary, but may have been through his brother-in-law Captain Bert Mann who married his sister Mary Ann.
