Canine Inflammatory Bowel Disease

As our lights shine brightly through the galaxy, may the angels smile upon us, and know that for a brief moment, we have put aside worldly differences to bond as ONE.

I have sent you on a journey to a land free from pain, not because I did not love you, but because I loved you too much to force you to stay.

Candle of Hope

This is a time when we collectively get together, no matter where we are in the world and simultaneously light a candle for those who are not faring well at the time. It is also a time to remember those who have passed.

11:30 p.m. EST, EDT

EST/EDT: Eastern Standard (Daylight) Time
CST/CDT: Central Standard (Daylight) Time
MST/MDT: Mountain Standard (Daylight) Time
PST/PDT: Pacific Standard (Daylight) Time

New Zealand (NZ) is 13 hours ahead of MST/MDT, so if people on MST/MDT light at 9:30 pm on Sunday, NZ would light at 3:30 pm on Monday.  So, we think it would be best for those in North America to light on Saturday night, and our International friends to light on Sunday - that way we both have the chance to light on a weekend AND we will still all be lighting at the same time.

Those in the UK are 7 hours ahead of MST/MDT so if people on MST/MDT light at 9:30 pm on Saturday, they technically would light at 4:30 am on Sunday. Since that is unreasonable,
we will have 2 candle lightings, with the UK lighting at 7:00 pm on Sunday.

Germany is one hour ahead of the UK, so they would light at 8:00 pm on Sunday.
France is the same as Germany.

To summarize, we would have 2 candle lightings: North America/New Zealand/Australia and then Eastern Europe.
