The next morning we head out to explore Portinatx. This is the front entrance to the Hotel Presidente

This is the path from the hotel to the beach - it is quite steep and not ideal for families
17
This is Portinatx Bay, with calm clear and warm water, great for swimming in
18
This is Portinatx Beach. It's quite busy. This is in September, it must get very busy in August

The beach from the farside of the bay - This is an excellent photo of a telegraph Pole

More of Portinatx Beach with the Presidente Hotel on the hillside in the background

Portinatx village - a couple of shops, a few pubs and resturants and a Cashline machine - very useful

We head back to the hotel to take some underwater shots in the pool
23
Sitting on the bottom of the pool, tt looks like I can't hold my breath any longer
24
I'm signaling I'm OK or perhaps I'm signaling I want to go back up
25
A much better shot of Ewan swimming - obviously better because I took it
26
This is me sitting at the bottom of the pool again, possibly drowning...
27
... no those look like bubbles, I'm probably still alive...
28
...see.

That night we head off to Ibiza Town - The Bulldog Bar, the first bar we found charging less than 4 pounds a pint
30
Ewan reads the menu, ignoring the empty glasses in front of him

Clives Bar in Ibiza Town - after passing this bar several times the prop offered us discount drinks to sit here and make the place look interesting and busy. He picked the wrong people...
