Mr. Matthew Pocket- Mr. Pocket is cousin to Miss Havisham. The Pockets are a well-to-do family in the aristocracy. Mr. Pocket will serve as Pip's tutor in the late story. |
Mrs. Belinda Pocket- She is Mr. Pocket's wife. She doesn't really know how to do anything, as her servants do everything. She is mother to seven young children, Hebert, and is expecting another, though she is not a very good mother. |
The Pocket Children- The Pocket children live in the servant maintained world of Mr. and Mrs. Pocket. There are four girls, two boys, and a baby of yet unknown gender. They seem to spend most of their time just playing in the yard. |

Herbert Pocket: He is the eldest son of the Pocket family. He is actually the pale young gentleman that Pip fought as a child. Pip and Herbert become the best of friends in the later story. |
Flopson and Millers- They are the servants at the Pocket household that seem to manage all of the household affairs, including the children. |
Sarah Pocket- She is cousin to Matthew Pocket. When Estella leaves Miss Havisham for her education, Sarah Pocket takes her place dealing with visitors. |
Camilla Pocket- She is the wife of Raymond Pocket. |
The Aged Parent- He is Wemmick's eighty-two year old father. He lives in Wemmicks house, and is a very pleasent person. |
Raymond Pocket- He is a cousin of Matthew Pocket |
Miss Skivins- She is a friend of Wemmick, and often visits and goes on walks with Wemmick. |
Bently Drummle- He is a very rich man about Pip's age that is also tutored by Mr. Pocket. Pip hates Drummle very much. |
Startop- He is another youth being tutored by Mr. Pocket. He is very shy, and Pip has nothing against him. |
Mrs. Brandley- She is the lady Estella is staying with in order to meet people in high society. |

Molly- She is Mr. Jaggers' maid. The has many markings on her arms. Wemmick describes her as "a wild beast tamed". |
Clarriker- He is the man in which Herbert becomes partner with. Herbert doesn't know, though, that Pip is the one sponcering him. |
Clara Barley- She is the girl to whom Herbert is engaged. She cannot marry Herbert yet though, because of family interests. |
Mr. Barley- He is Clara's father. He is bed-ridden, and must be served by Clara. He has a bad temper and is always drinking of rum. |
Mrs. Whimple- She is the houswife in the Barely house. She is the mother figure for Clara, who has no mother. |
