11a. We generally tend to blame others.
Ever wondered why!
We, as human beings,
know that we've short-comings. But we don't want to accept this truth in front
of others (though, to ourselves, we generally do) . Cause we feel that by excepting
it in open, we are telling others that we are less efficient/good then them
. And we are afraid that this may cause our respect to diminish in their eyes.
So, we try to put the blame on others so that they'll lose respect & not
us. But we forget that we can escape from others but not from ourselves.
We
forget that others are also human like us & they are as much liable to make
mistakes as we are . And also, the real thing that counts is that we should
be respectable in our own eyes (cause we can't hide anything from us & so
we'll know if we deserve respect or not) . Its only secondary that we look for
our respect in others eyes.
So, as long as we are truthful to ourselves, we'll be respecting ourselves &
won't find the need to blame anyone as we'll be strong enough to take responsibility
for our own actions.
