12a. Isn't it ironical
that, whenever we do some mistake, we find our family members supporting the
society, rather than us. In such situations it is very common to hear one/all
of these things - What will people say? / You've spoiled our name? / Now we
can't show our face to anyone? / It would've been better if you were not born
in our family? - and many of the varients of these ; indicating that they are
more concerned about others than us.
If
family members are the top priority of every person, then why do people support
'The Society' (which doesn't belong to anyone)? Agreed that, to live in a community,
we've to follow it's norms; but, is it really right to give the Control of our
Lives (& that of our families) to this society. Society includes people
like us only, who also want protection & respect & who also make mistakes
just like us. Then why do we tend to be afraid of their thinking at times of
crisis?
When
some member of a family does something wrong (or different), why don't we stick
with him/her ( our very own beloved & priced person )? When we suffer, society
doesn't bother, its these family members only, who take care of us & heal
us with their genuine Love.
Society has always been & always will point it's finger at us (every chance
they get). It'll very easily forget our helpful/positive contribution to it
(if applicable). So, why do we keep on trying to please society (by being
