The Little Black Dress
Before "Breakfast at Tiffany's", there was this little black dress.  The dress was cute, cool, and utterly Audrey.  Simply put, it was a beautiful dress.  So, what makes this dress worthy of its own page, other than its beauty? The timelessness of this classic.  If you look closely, you can find variations of the dress in many different settings in your own daily life.  Just remember not to quote lines from "Sabrina",whenever you see an Audrey-inspired dress(if you do, people will give you strange looks.)

The Queen
The Duchesses
If you're going for all-out accuracy, this dress is hard to find.  Your best bet is to look for it in a vintage shop that carries a lot of formalwear.  When you look for the dress, keep these things in mind:
-the dress should be a dark color, should you decide not to get black
-the original dress was satin.  The dress you buy should have some sort of sheen to it and have a reflective quality (exception-the skirt is knee-length and straight-cut)
-the dress should be sleeveless, and between knee- and calf-length (nothing near the ankles)
-at best, the dress should be tight in the bodice, but full-skirted.
-even if the dress is not full-skirted, the bodice should still be close-fitting
