Astrology and I-Ching both work on the principle of the deep-freeze; astrology fixes the time of birth as final and fadic(of fate), and I-Ching on the moment you throw the dice or the coins. The
theory of I-Ching is to concieve the unity of all
things. It was also called Tao, meaning The
Way. We are always in a flux, in motion;
never arriving, always moving, changing, from
moment to moment. The
principle of duality, the Yin ( feminine) and the
Yang (masculine), is the basic to this motion or
change. It is the interaction and the correlation
of the Yang and the Yin which is responsible fot
"unceasing moment". Together, they
constitute the Tao. The His Tzu
puts it succinctly, "There is an
intermingling of the genial influences of the
Heaven and Earth, and the gling of the gential
influences of the Heaven and Earth, and the
transformation of all things, proceeds
abundantly. There is intercommunication of the
seed between male and female, and all creatures
