INTERESTS
I had acquired immense interest and knowledge in computers since 2005.I have a solid foundation. Ive covered a lot of material on my own, from simple formats and OS installs to creating websites from scratch using my own HTML. If you want to see what HTML looks like simply click on "view" and select "Page Source", "Source" or "Source Code" (depending on your browser).
As far as self teaching goes Ive covered: formatting, Installing OS (Win 98, Win XP, Ubuntu [Linux], Configuring a Network Connection, Maintenance (DE FRAGMENTING, SCAN DISK etc), partitioning, Graphic Design, low level web design (using Microsoft Front page) among others.
Technology isn't he only field I'm interested in though. I am also fond of Architecture, Design, Politics, Economics, Debate and Diplomacy. When ever I'm not doing reading about the latest technological feat I spend time on forums and TV stations covering these areas.
I went through reception and grades 1 to 3 in Victoria Falls Primary School, a school in a small border town in Zimbabwe of the same name (Victoria
Falls). That school laid the foundation in my creativity and intellectual capacity. Victoria Falls Primary School had a solid sports program that included; tennis, cricket, rugby, cross country, football, relay, long jump, sprint and swimming as well as many others. Swimming was by far my favourite activity.
We moved to Lusaka, the capital city in 2000. I went to Our Ladies School (despite the name its a unisex
school) and completed grades 4, 5 and 6 there before skipping grade 7 (I wrote the Grade 7 exam while I was still in Grade 6 and passed) and moved on to Rhodes park school where I completed my senior school education. While there I was an active member of Junior Achievement Zambia, an initiative under Barclays Bank International to encourage entrepreneurship as well as the Junior Engineering and Technological Sciences (JETS) Club. I was also a member of the school Computer Club, and became its head and was in charge of the Global Teenager Project, an initiative to encourage learning between teenagers in different parts of the globe via the Internet. I finished Grade 12 and my Cambridge General Certificate of Education (GCE)O Level Exams there. I joined New Horizons Computer Learning Center less than a month after completing my GCE O LEVEL GRADE 12
exams. No time to waste. I completed the course in three months and amassed heaps of knowledge, (as this site shows).
I joined the Zambia Institute for Accountancy Studies (ZCAS) and I am currently doing a course under NCC Education called International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS). Thanks to my background in computing I skipped the first module (International Certificate of Computer Studies) and went straight into IDCS. The module I'm currently taking consists of 4 subjects: Programming Methods (PM), Computer Technology (CT), Fundamentals of Hardware and Operating Systems (FHOS) and Organisation and Business Structures (OBS).This course is very satisfying and covers a broad range of topics.
VISION STATEMENT
FUTURE POSITION
I hope to indulge in a career that involves IT, creativity and a visual aspect such as being a Software Designer, Systems Analyst, CAD Architecture or Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) in movies. In terms of study I would love to be in a professional and recognised academic entity. I would love to study abroad
especially in America, Japan, China or South Korea due to their technological prowess. Any one interested in
sponsoring me please fell free to contact me using my email address ifungaxpsp2@yahoo.com or cell number 097 9 923539. Thank you.
