Walberla mountain. Northern Bavaria (Frankische Schweiz), July 2003
After moving to the North of Bavaria, we started to explore the region with visiting some interesting places near us in Franconian Switzerland. The first point was a small mountain Walberla. It actually consists of two parts. The one you see here is bald at the top, with a small church. It has a very interesting two-shoulder form - see the next picture. The second part of the mountain is covered with trees and bushes, and there is a cross on the top.
