This is a starting page for my photo gallery. The photographs here are now several years old. In recent years we've made few trips, and in the travel section of my new Web site you can read my notes accompanied by numerous photographs. Links below will take you directly to the new stories:

2007, April. Our big tour in France with travel notes and tips. - My travelogue of two week vacation in France, when we visited Provence, Orange, Avignon, Rhone delta and then went north to Paris.

2006, June. Our one-week vacation in Southern Ontario, Canada. - We did a short visit to Canada, staying three nights in Toronto, the rest being spent in more rural places, visiting Owen Sound and Grey County, Colingwood, Barrie and Orillia

2006, August. Short vacation in France (Alsace, Vosges) and Luxembourg. - The very first of our tours. We stayed in Vosges and Alsace first, including Strasbourg, then went to Luxembourg for one day.

2006, October/November. Three days in Belgium. - This one being a very short vacation in Belgium: Brussels, Leuven, Oostende and some less known tourist attractions.

2006, December. Frankfurt. - One-day visit of Frankfurt, mostly spent in museums.

The cities, big and small, that I have seen in the last years : Paris, several German cities and a couple of photos from Texas.
The most exciting landscapes are normally out of reach. Photographs were mainly made in the places close to ones where we lived in Bavaria, Germany.
Flowers - most of pictures are from the Freising botanic garden. From April to October, it is an endless source of impressions for our senses. (Hmmm... it was, at least. We've moved now to the north of Bavaria).
