About Me

Hey! My name is Emily, I am Canadian and this is the year 2002!

As you read above my name is Emily, but most people call me Elimy. Some call me Emma-Lee, Elle, LB, Emmie, Biggsy, Emma, Little Biggs, and yeh there are probably more, but I just can't think of them now. I live on a dairy farm in Grand-Pre, Nova Scotia, Canada. On our farm we have about 250 holstein cows, and plenty of cats, which are supposed to keep the mice and rats away. We do more than raise cattle and cats though, we have our own grain drying elevator, set of truck scales, soybean roaster, and we do custom combining and dozer work. On our farm we have the best kind of tractors ever. Yuppers, they are John Deere!! "NOTHING RUNS LIKE A DEERE"

I'm 16 and going into grade 11 at Horton High School. The courses I am taking are: ENG11, ECO11, CLM/PAL11, MAT11adv, MAT12adv, CHE11adv, and BIO11. It's going to be one tough year, all I am hoping is to survive through it. I do not know eaxcatly what I want to be when I grow up, but I am thinking hard. Perhaps a math teacher, or a minister, or even a farmer, or what about a milk turck driver? hmmm, not quite sure yet. What do you see me as?

My hair on my head is brownish blond and naturally curly. I like to listen to music, ride my bike, go 4-wheeling with my brother, and just chill with the chillers. When I am home you can usually find me on the computer working with visual basics or playing freecell or snood, on Icq, or doing almost anything you can do on a computer that is a bit interesting. I wish I had my own laptop, but I don't have the money. My favourite animals are horses, Dalmatian dogs, and monkeys, and I love bananas. I would rather stay up all night and sleep all morning. I can sing but it is so off tune. I don't care just as long as I can talk. I enjoy reading Dr. Suess' books because they are hilarious and aren't a challenge to read. Some people think I am crazy and immature, but I feel like I am much older, since I am half way to 32.

I love my family, even when they never want to see or hear me most days.

I go to school Monday-Friday, and sometimes church on Sunday. I'm involved in 4-H and the Baptist youth group. I babysit Wednesday after school, and also other days when I am needed, for a 1yr old boy, Christopher, for a friend down the road. When I am not busy doing school work, babysitting, or going to 4-H events, I sometimes help out on the farm a bit. Two summers agoI got to drive my first tractor. Before driving the tractor I had driven a backhoe, lawnmower, 4-wheeler, 3-wheeler, jeep, and a minivan, but I found these much easier. I mean, how would I know when I am going down a hill with hay bales on back to also push the brake and not just the clutch? Luckily, I ran into a hay bale! In June, 2001, I got my beginners and now I just have to drive another 6 hours with the driver training program. This summer I sort of learned how to drive a standard. You probably already know the story, but if you don't..ahahaha to bad for you, cause I am not gonna tell you.
