A word about Fae Wear...

Every Fairy, Elf, and other magical creature is highly unique. The same with my fae garb. Everything shown is really just an example of the myriad of possibilities, a base on which to build up whatever you dream up. I am happy to customize anything here for you. All you need to do is let me know exactly what you want, and I will do my best to fulfill.

FA1. Elven Gown
Borrow from Arwen's wardrobe and you might find this gown. Graceful princess seams and back lacing make for a perfect fit. Metallic trim circling the neck and upper sleeves, your choice of satin or dupioni silk fabric, a short train, and very long sheer sleeves makes this gown truly fit for a princess. Inspired by the clothing worn in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Please specify color choices, bust and waist measurements, and your waist to floor length. Sorry the pictures aren't very clear - I will have better ones up soon.
Elven Gown in Satin: $150
Elven Gown in Dupioni Silk: $200

FA2. Corsetted Fairy
This ensemble is the most popular of the ones I have made. The top is a back-lacing, boned bodice in your choice of satin or velvet, lined in soft cotton for comfort. Around the top edge are fluttery layers of sheers and/or laces. The skirt is made up of a solid cotton (other fabrics available upon request) base cut into jagged "pixie points". Covering the gathered elasticized, mid-length skirt are layers of floaty sheers and/or laces. Think of all the possibilities! In black, it makes an excellent midnight fairy (distress the layers for a more gothic look!). In shades of red, orange, and gold you will look as though you stepped right from the flames. Have it made in white with a full length skirt for your fantasy wedding. Prices vary, but for the most part, everything mentioned above is the basic version of this outfit. Variations are always possible. *Note* - The back laces up much better than the pictute shows. In that instance, it was only laced every other eyelet, as lacing up all 22 takes a quite a while for a photo op.
Corsetted Fairy Ensemble: $140
Corset only: $90
Skirt Only: $50

FA3. Sheer Cloak
These cloaks are the same as the basic unlined cloak, but made in sheer, shimmery material. They glitter and catch the light as you move! Can be made with a slit in the back to accommodate wings (upon request). Closes at the neck with either a frog closure or a vintage brooch (mostly gold, leaf or flower shaped, whatever I can find). Currently experimenting with a version lined at the edges with leaves or flowers. One size fits most. Pictures available soon.
Sheer cloak: $70
Lace cloak: $70

FA7. Harem Pants
These are very cool pants for the non-traditional fairy! They are made to sit on the hips (can be made with higher waistline if desired) and have very full, roomy legs, and are cinched at the ankles. These pants look great with a Pixie Skirt, or for the more active, practical-minded fairy who can't deal with a skirt when playing tag in the forest, wear them alone! Your choice of drawstring or elastic waist and ankles. Version with slit sides available soon. All colors subject to availability. Pictures available soon.
Harem Pants in cotton, any color: $25
Harem Pants in Bridal Satin, any color: $40

FA8. Shortie
This short-sleeved blouse is made just like the chemise, but it ends somewhere between bust and belly button! Very nice for warmer days, and looks great with the Harem Pants. Your choice of any combination of drawstring and/or elastic in the neckline, sleeves, and bottom edge (I recommend elastic for this one - it's just easier!). All colors subject to availability. Pictures available soon. Ruffled version also coming soon.
Short Blouse in cotton, any color: $25
Short Blouse in cotton gauze, any color: $30
Short Blouse in Bridal Satin, any color: $35

FA9. Fairy Shimmy
The Fairy Shimmy is a simple pull-over blouse with spaghetti straps and elasticized over and under the bust (may be made with drawstrings if you prefer, but elastic is just easier!). It leaves the midriff bare (can be made longer upon request), and ruffled edges make it very pretty and feminine. Very nice for keeping faries cool on warmer days, and looks awesome with the Harem Pants and Pixie Skirt. All fabrics and colors subject to availability. Pictures available soon.
Shimmy in cotton, any color: $15
Shimmy in cotton gauze, any color: $25
Shimmy in Bridal Satin, any color: $25
Add beaded trim around the bottom: Add $10
