The Adventures of Sushi
Chapter One

Alouen opened her eyes and cursed. The being in the next cell was reaching out attempting to touch her.

"Hey! Who you? You come to fight? Me fight! Sushi not scared of long haired lady! Me rip it out!"

"Wha...what did you say? Why would you want to rip my hair out? You beastly...evil thing!" Her voice starts shaking. "If I wanted to fight you, I'd be in your cell, not mine! I'm stuck here too. I'd watch out for me though, I'm evil, so I might bite your nose off if you get to close. Go play before the big evil gets you. Go play in your cell. I'm not safe to be around."

"Sushi no evil. Sushi Good. Sushi no let evil lady bite off nose. Me no like cell. Sushi lonely. Sushi make talk with evil lady. Evil Lady like imp beer? Sushi like imp beer. Sushi want imp beer. Human beer not as good. Me take human beer, But no good. Have to brink whole barrel to get feel good. You have beer?"

She peered at Sushi. "Well, I'm not evil either. It's just the thing inside of me that is. And I don't drink beer. I wouldn't really know anything about imp beer. I have an imp friend, at least, I think he's an imp. He may know something about it. Well, maybe not, I didn't get the impression he was a drinker. So," She wring her hands nervously. "Um, your name is Sushi? And, ah, you refer to yourself in the third person? Ah, my name's Alouen. I'm from...ah, nevermind. So, um, what are you?"

"Me big brave barbarian! Me no like being shut in cell. Feel like good cave, but no can leave! Try to break chains, but they no break. You got food? They no feed Sushi! Sushi eat spiders, but no taste good, not like horse. Get covered in sticky web stuff. Me no like that. Need fur brush. You got
fur brush? Sushi want go back to cave. No back to cave for Sushi, Sushi need find family. You take family? No look like take family. You seen family? You seen black armor men take family? Imps take family too. You know bad imp take family?"

"Well....ah, um," She trie futiley to keep up with Sushi's questions. "Family...no...no, bandits...um, got my family. Bad imp take family? What do you mean?"

Alouen listened as Sushi relayed the story, which ended with her saying. "Now Sushi no find family. Stuck in Cell!"

"So, you can't get out then? Um, maybe I can help somehow."

"Sushi no can get out! You help Sushi? You help Sushi, Sushi be friend."

"Yeah, just come as close as you can. I'll see what I can do."

Sushi starts to come over to walk towards Alouen, but pauses when a really huge roach runs across the floor. "Oooh! Sushi see big bug! Sushi catch and eat!"

"Ah...ugh. Well, then, let me know when you want my help. In the meantime, I'll try to get myself free. I have no intention of eating bugs. So," She said, as she moved around her cell, "How's that bug taste?"

Suddenly the cell door burst open and two guards came in with weapons drawn. Another guard came in with a key and headed towards Sushi's cell. "Okay you bag of fur, master wants to see you, it's time for you to entertain him." The guard opened the cell, and moved in to yank Sushi's chains. Sushi is taken up the stairs.

Sushi was now in the halls filled with light. It was apparently daylight now, and they were taking her in chains to this master, they always spoke about.

They pass beautifully tiled floors, silk curtains, and large windows. Sushi doesn't understand why humans require so much decoration, when all they really need is a good mug of beer, but you move and obey their urgings to keep going.

The weapons are still pointed at you. Sushi remembers what those "boomsticks" did when they captured her. Blasting through armor, and fierce warrior alike, it seemed like these men would be unstoppable.

She is suddenly brought up to what seemed to be a large hall with a few throne-like chairs around the room. A dark figure approaches from the shadows.

"Ahh, my pet, you will serve me so well." The man lifted the beasts chin and looks into its eyes.

"You are angry aren't you? You wish only to kill, you want the rage to come out don't you? But you know better, just like a good pet. But do not worry my pet, all this will soon be possible, just that you
will have to be much stronger then your opponent to survive.

"Guards," the dark figure snapped his fingers and two more guards camee from the shadows. "Escort this beast of mine to the warrior's room, I will be there to watch the fight personally." He looks at the
guards with the guns. "Keep those on it, if this beast wishes to do anything other than what I say, shoot her, and blast her hide full of holes."

"Yes Master Gundaga!" The four guards said saluting.

"Now get out of here." Gundaga signaled for them to leave his sight.

As the guards dragged her down the hall Sushi thought about the "entertainment". Perhaps it wouldn't be so hard, she loved to spar with her family, ah her family, how she longed to see then again, to be curled up next to them and their long white fur. Soon the guards would give her back her
weapons (she hopes) then she'll show them who is the mighty warror.

The guards led Sushi by the chains to a large door, and behind it was the voices of hundreds if not thousands of people. The door slowly opened and Sushi was pushed into the room, but Sushi quickly realized it was a small arena. Everyone around had eyes on her. Turning you notice the guards are gone and the heavy iron door as been shut behind you. The chants start. "Kill...Kill...Kill...Kill!" Suddenly another door on the opposite side opened up and a creature came out, it was large, and scary looking, but Sushi figured she could take it.

Another chant started. "Titan...Titan...Titan...Titan...Titan!" Upon closer inspection you realize that the Titan is also wearing chains, but chains that look much heavier and thicker then yours. From the wall above, you see Gundaga toss down your weapons. On the other side another man tosses weapons down for the Titan. "Round 1, Ready, FIGHT!"

The Titan grabbed the large hammer that was thrown down from the top of the wall, and saw Sushi standing at the other end. The Titan yelled in anger and fury, and started it's walk over to Sushi. The small crowd cheered and watched on in anticipation. As the both creatures moved with weapon in hand, the sounds of chains could be heard. The Titan's chains were very big, and clinked and clanked around aimlessly, causing some trouble for the Titan.

Sushi grabbed ahold of her weapons and approached the Titan. With fists up and ready to fight Sushi went for an attack on the Titan's legs.

With a punch she swings at the Titan's leg and just barely makes a small scratch that small trail of blood starts to appear. :::HIT -1HP:::

The crowd cheers and watches awaiting the Titan's response. He hefts the big hammer into the air and intends to smash Sushi into the ground. :::HIT -4HP:::

Sushi swishes her tail in anger. She growls discontentedly, and glances at the crowd. She almost enjoyed this. The thrill of fighting, and the attention from the crowd; she never got this much attention at home. No, it was always "Little Sushi try to fight!"Then they'd pick her up and put her in the
sack on the wall and say, "Next time, fight more like big Yeti. Then you be good fight making."

"Yaaahhh WooooooooRaaaaaaOOOoooooo!" She yells as she attacks again. She attempts to hit him
at the same location before, thinking that he probably is tender there now.

Sushi goes in for an attack, as the chants of the people around her give her what she needs to go in for the attack. With claws exposed she slashes at the Titan's legs again and connects with a vicious blow that cuts the Titan's legs open. :::HIT -22HP:::

The Titan yells out in pain, and the crowd cheers louder. Falling to one knee the Titan swins it's giant hammer in your direction. :::HIT -12HP:::

Sushi goes for another attack at the monster's leg now that is had dropped on one knee. With a mighty swing of your claws you go for blood. :::MISS:::

The Titan rolls on the ground dodging the blow, but shaking the ground causing you to lose your balance.

The Titan uses this time to get back to it's feet and ready itself for another attack. With blood dripping down it's leg, Sushi knows that it won't be long until the beast will not be able to walk. :::READIES FOR ATTACK:::

Sushi is wild, and in a frenzy at the sight of the monster bleeding, and wanted another hit. Running up to the Titan who was already in a defensive position, you make for the left leg, but dodge a swing and go for the right leg, which is bleeding. With a swing of her claws she digs another chunk out of his leg.:::HIT -14:::

The Titan yells in pain as it reaches down for it's leg. The Titan looks at Sushi angrily and takes a swing with it's mighty hammer just barely hitting her on the shoulder enough to make you bleed. :::HIT -6HP:::

"You hurt Sushi, blood come from arm! Sushi Mad! Sushi kill you big time!" She yells and goes in for the kill.

She can feel the energy building up inside her. Sushi can feel the rage begin to bubble up inside her as she runs towards the Titan. She quickly dodges it's weapon, run under his feet and turning quickly she jumps through the air and in a blinding fury there is suddenly 10 of her, all intent on killing the Titan. Confused the Titan starts to swing, each of her images moving away, and then all going for an attack. :::LIMIT BREAK ATTACK -24HP::: Titan is dead.

The Titan is only able to yell out in pain as 10 Sushi's all release their anger on him. The Titan now bloodied falls to the ground expelling it's last breath. The crowd is cheering, it's almost deafening.

From the battle she collects 150GP that the patron have all thrown at her.
