What you will need

I hope you've got plenty of storage space because you're going to need it. Unfortunately it isn't a case of just a couple of cages, it's not that simple I'm afraid. Here is a good start.

Utensils

• Cages: and more than a couple, different sizes, from breeding boxes to Cockatoo cages.
• Outside cages and an aviary are also advisable for the larger birds.
• Boxes: again different sizes because you never know what size bird you are likely to have to pick up.
• Gloves, (a necessitary) soft rags, (t-shirts and towels) feeding bowls, (different sizes) water dishes.
• Mixing bowls, syringes, eyedroppers, screwtop jars, antiseptic solution, sterilizing solution.
• Hot waterbottles, Heatlamps, Heat Pads.

Got all that, good, now for the food side. Most of what you will need can be purchased from either your local supermarket, chemist or pet shop. I have broken the next section into 2 catogories, Nectar feeders and Meat eaters.
