Eighteen years ago I came to this world and on de 26th of December I will be 18. My name is Safira and I'm from Holland, Europe a small country with weather much like England. Oh and for the english speaking people Sapphire is my name in englih, they both mean the same since I was named after the gem so, but in english Sapphire is easier to pronounce.
Originally I am a blond, but I dyed it black about 4 years a go and ever since, but to satisfy my dad I will let my hair turn blond again, it's been so long I want to see for myself how it looks now. I also had about every hairstyle there is and stuff but now I' trying to let my hair grow way over my shoulders, so ... I have green/brown eyes and I am 1.75 meters tall and I have 10 piercings including earrings and 4 tattoo's:

A fairy on my upper left arm I got it on the 10th of December 2003
A spider on my lower inside of my right arm. I got it on the 14th of October 2003
And my newest edition: 2 wings on my schoulderblades and I got them on the 24th of December 2004

My hobby's are mostly artistic ever since my mom showed me how to draw a girl. I'm also studying arts on an artacademie here in Holland. I love to draw and I love to paint and I love art. My religion is Wicca. A religion based on nature. I believe in a Goddess and a God. Some Wiccans including me call thereselves witches. Now don't get ideas about witches with the pointy nose or girls dancing naked around a fire under the full moon, you would probably not reconize a witch by his/her looks. Sometime you may but that's because people like to think that all Gothics are witches or satanists. Even better Wiccans don't even believe in a devil and not all Gothics are Wiccans and not all Wiccans are Gothics. What we practice is white/good magic.


But the clicé of Wiccan and Goth goes for me. I'm a goth for about 7 years now. I love the way of dressing and the big beautiful dresses.
I did not start wearing goth clothes to be rebelious towards my parent or for the attention, I get that either way sounds a bit arrogant, but even if I dress 'normal' people stare at me, even better my moher showed me a shop where they sell goth clothes and my parents accept me for who I am.
Another cliché of goths and death goes for me and I don't mean slitting my wrists, I have a to good of life to do that, I have a great facination for death and I romance it and think about it a lot more often then the avverage person.
and one last thing about Gothic, please don't go signing my guestbook telling me I'm a freak or witch because 1) you can come up with something more original, 2) yes I am a with so there and 3) I don' care I've been called a lot of things and been wished a lot of deadly diseases so I just shut myself from that. Thank You.


In the last High Shool year I made a lot of new friends including my boyfriend. I love all my friends my old ones and the new ones and they mean the world to me and are always there to catch me and to cheer me up ^__^
